Selected candidates will be granted the prestigious rank of Captain upon commissioning into the Indian Army. They will receive an attractive salary package as per Level 10 of the Pay Matrix, which includes:

Selection Process – Indian Army RVC 95th Course Recruitment 2026
Application Screening: Initial shortlisting of applications will be carried out by the Directorate General Remount Veterinary Services (DGRVS) based on academic performance.
SSB Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be called to appear before the Service Selection Board (SSB) to evaluate their psychological aptitude, personality, and leadership qualities.
Medical Examination: Candidates recommended by the SSB will undergo a rigorous medical examination by a Board of Service Medical Officers.
Final Merit List: The final selection is based on overall merit, performance in the SSB, and medical fitness.
