Selection Process – SBI Apprentice Recruitment 2026
The engagement process will consist of the following stages:
Online Written Examination: An objective-type test consisting of 100 questions (100 marks) covering General/Financial Awareness, General English, Quantitative Aptitude, and Reasoning Ability & Computer Aptitude.
Local Language Proficiency Test: Testing familiarity with the state’s chosen regional language.
Document Verification & Medical Examination.
Note: A stipend of Rs. 15,000/- per month is provided for the one-year duration.
This is an apprenticeship training program, not a permanent job in the bank.
Selection involves an online test with 100 questions to be solved in 60 minutes.
How to Apply?
Mandatory Pre-requisite: Candidates must first complete their registration on the National Apprenticeship Training Portal (NAPS) before applying on the SBI portal.
Step 2: Locate the advertisement section titled “ENGAGEMENT OF APPRENTICES UNDER THE APPRENTICES ACT, 1961” and click on “Apply Online”.
Step 3: Click on “Click here for New Registration” and enter your basic contact details (Name, Mobile, Email) to generate your temporary Registration ID and Password.
Step 4: Log in with your new credentials, fill out the application details (educational qualification, state preference, and language options) carefully.
Step 5: Upload scanned clear copies of your Photograph, Signature, Left Thumb Impression, and a Handwritten Declaration in the prescribed formats.
Step 6: Preview your application to make sure all data is accurate, proceed to pay the application fee online (if applicable), and click “Final Submit”.
Step 7: Download and print a copy of the final submitted application form and fee receipt for future recruitment reference.
