Age Limit : SSC SSA/UDC Limited Departmental Competitive Examination 2025
- The upper age limit is typically 50 years (relaxable for SC/ ST candidates as per rules).
- Candidate should not be more than the age prescribed by their respective cadre/Cadre Controlling Authority as on the crucial date for their cadre. The following age relaxations are permissible beyond the upper age limit:

Selection Process : SSC SSA/UDC Limited Departmental Competitive Examination 2025
- Stage 1 : Based on performance in Paper-I (CBE) of Part-I, candidates will be shortlisted for evaluation of Paper-II (Descriptive Paper) of Part-I. Candidates not qualifying Paper-I will not be evaluated for Paper-II and will not be considered for further selection.
- Stage 2: Based on aggregate performance in Paper-I and Paper-II of Part-I, candidates will be shortlisted for evaluation of record of service (Part-II). Candidates not qualifying Part-I aggregate will not be eligible for Part-II evaluation.
- Stage 3: Final selection will be made on the basis of aggregate performance of candidates in Paper-I (CBE) + Paper-II (Descriptive) of Part-I and Part-II (APAR Evaluation). The Commission may fix minimum qualifying marks individually for Paper-I and Paper-II of Part-I.
Tie-Breaking Rules:
- 1st Tie-Break: Marks obtained in Paper-II (Descriptive)
- 2nd Tie-Break: Marks obtained in part (b) of Paper-I (English Language and Comprehension)
- 3rd Tie-Break: Date of birth – older candidates placed higher
- 4th Tie-Break: Alphabetical order in which the names of the candidates appear

- Log in using your new OTR credentials, navigate to the departmental examination section, select the SSA/ UDC LDCE 2025, and complete the online application. Submit only one application to avoid rejection.
- One Time Registration (OTR) and Filling of online Application Form for the Examination.
- Completion of online Application Form
- After submitting online, download and print a copy of your completed application form. Attach all required service documents.
- Submit the printed application copy to your Head of Office / Department (HoD).
