Candidates selected for SI posts in CAPFs are liable to serve anywhere in India. All posts except SI in Delhi Police carry All India Service Liability (AISL).
Educational Qualification : SSC SI CAPF Recruitment 2026
- SI in Delhi Police / SI (GD) in CAPFs: Bachelor’s degree from a recognised university or equivalent. Candidates awaiting final result may also apply but must possess the qualification by the closing date.
- SI (Fire) in CISF:Bachelor’s degree in Science with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from a recognised university or equivalent; OR Matriculation plus a 3-year diploma in Mechanical/ Civil/ Electrical/ Automobile/ Chemical/ Mining/ Aeronautical/ Telecommunication Engineering or equivalent. A higher qualification (B.Tech/ M.Tech) in relevant fields is treated as value addition, subject to the basic diploma being held.
- Level 1: 10th Pass OR ITI OR equivalent OR National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by NCVT
Note: For the post of SI in Delhi Police, male candidates must possess a valid Driving License for LMV (Motorcycle and Car) on the date fixed for the Physical Endurance and Measurement Test (PE&MT). Male candidates without a valid LMV licence are eligible only for SI posts in CAPFs, not Delhi Police.
