Stage-1 : Physical Test

Physical Efficiency Test (PET):

• Male Candidates: 5000 Meters (5 KM) run to be completed in a Maximum time 25 minutes.
• Female Candidates: 1600 Meters (1.6 KM) run to be completed in a Maximum Time 9 minutes and 30 seconds.
• Ex-Servicemen: 2400 Meters (2.4 KM) run to be completed in a Maximum Time 12 minutes.

Physical Standard Test (PST):

• Height Standards: Minimum height of 165 CM for general category males and 155 CM for females.
• Chest Standards (Men Candidates Only): Minimum chest width of 79 CM, with a mandatory expansion of at least 5 CM (79 CM to 84 CM).

Stage-2 : Written Examination

• Objective MCQ (Multiple Choice Questions) based test in the Gujarati language
• Paper Style: General Knowledge, Mental Ability/ Reasoning, Current Affairs, Numerical Aptitude, History and Geography of Gujarat and India, alongside the foundational legal and constitutional frameworks relevant to state policing.

Stage-3: Documents Verification (DV)

• Educational Qualification: Candidate have qualified 12th Standard (Std) or Its equivalent.
• Cast Certificate: Who candidate belonging SC, ST, OBC, EWS and PwBD must have cast certificate for regervation
• Additional Qualification: If Candidate have additional qualification as like NCC Certificate, Sports Qualified Certificate, Widow Certificate etc present to DV.

Stage-4: Medical Examination

• Visual Standards: Freedom from Colour blindness, Night blindness or significant corrective issues.
• Physical Integrity: Checking for conditions like Flat Feet, Knock Knees or Hearing impairments that might restrict operational police duties.
