The Indian Navy has publiced an officially recruitment notification for the 10+2 (B.Tech) Cadet Entry Scheme for the course commencing in January 2027. This scheme offers unmarried male and female candidates a chance to join the Indian Naval Academy (INA), Ezhimala, for a fully-sponsored 4-year B.Tech degree, leading directly to a Permanent Commission as a Technical or Executive Officer. Education Qualification : Indian Navy Recruitment 2026
Passed Senior Secondary Examination (10+2 Pattern) or its equivalent examination from any recognised Board with at least 70% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM) and at least 50% marks in English (either in Class X or Class XII).
Candidates who have appeared for JEE (Main) – 2026 exam (for B.E/ B. Tech). Call up for Service Selection Board (SSB) will be issued on the basis of JEE (Main) All India Common Rank List (CRL) – 2026 published by NTA.
Medical Standards/ Relaxation in Height and Weight/ Tattoo. All candidates recommended by SSB are required to undergo medical examination applicable to 10+2 (B Tech) entry.
Candidates who have already been declared medically fit for the NDA/INA Jan 27 need not undergo repeat medical examination.
Guidelines for medical standards are available on the Indian Navy website www.joinindiannavy.gov.in. There is no relaxation in medical standards on any grounds. Change of medical hospital/center is not permissible under any circumstances.

Selection Process : Indian Navy Recruitment 2026
Naval Headquarters reserves the right to fix the cut off for shortlisting of applications for SSB based on JEE (Main) All India Common Rank List (CRL) – 2026. All candidates are required to fill their Rank as per Common Rank List (CRL) in the application. SSB interviews for shortlisted candidates will be scheduled at Bengaluru/ Bhopal/ Kolkata/ Visakhapatnam from Sep 2026 onwards.
Shortlisted candidates will be informed about their selection for SSB interview through e-mail and SMS (provided by candidates in their application form). Candidates are advised not to change their e-mail/ mobile number till selection process is over
Change of SSB Centre for examination/ interview is not permissible under any circumstances.
Candidates are to download the call up letter on receiving intimation from Naval Headquarters via SMS/e-mail (provided by candidate in their application). Any correspondence regarding change of SSB dates should be addressed to the call up officer of the concerned SSB on receipt of call up letter.
No compensation is admissible in case of any injury sustained as a result of tests during SSB interviews.
AC 3 tier rail fare is admissible for the SSB interview, if appearing for the first time for particular type of commission. Candidates are required to bring photocopy of the first page of pass book or cheque leaf where the name, A/C No. & IFSC details are mentioned, while appearing for SSB.

Common Merit list: Merit list would be prepared based on SSB marks and medical fitness. Candidates would be appointed subject to Police Verification and Character Verification & availability of vacancies in the entry.

Whilst filling up the e-application
Correct personal particulars details are to be filled up as given in the Matriculation Certificate/12th class certificate.
Fields such as e-mail address, mobile number are mandatory fields and need to be filled.
All relevant documents (preferably in original), Date of Birth proof (as per 10th/12th certificates), 10th class marksheet, 12th class marksheet, JEE(Main)-2026 Score card {indicating Common Rank List (CRL)} and a recent passport size colour photograph should be scanned in original JPG/ TIFF format, for attaching the same while filling up the application.
If any scanned document is not legible/ readable for any reason the application will be rejected
The application once submitted will be final and no request for amendments/change will be entertained.
