B.E./ B.Tech or equivalent degree in Telecommunications, Electronics, Computer Science, Radio, Electrical, Information Technology (IT), or Instrumentation. or
M.Sc. (Electronics) / M.Sc. (Computer Science)
Minimum Age 20 Years and Maximum Age 30 Years
Age relaxation : Upper age limit is relaxed by 3 years for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer), 5 years for SC/ST, and 10 years for PwBD candidates as per standard government regulations.

Selection Process : BSNL JTO Recruitment 2026
Computer-Based Test (CBT): A single paper of 3 hours duration comprising 120 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) carrying 480 marks.
Section III: General Ability Test – 80 Marks (20 Questions)
Negative Marking: Each correct answered awards 4 marks, while 1 mark is deducted for each wrong answer (-1).
Document Verification: Shortlisted merit candidates will be called for authentication of certificates.
Medical Examination: Candidates must pass BSNL’s standard medical examination.
