Qualification : ITBP Head Constable Moter Mechanic Recruitment 2026

• Route 1 – Motor Mechanic Certificate: 10+2 Pass from a recognized Board or Institution, plus a Motor Mechanic Certificate from a recognized institution or Industrial Training Institute and three years of practical experience in the trade in a reputed workshop.
• Route 2 – Automobile Engineering Diploma: 10+2 Pass from a recognized Board or Institution, plus a three-year Diploma in Automobile Engineering.

Selection Process : ITBP Head Constable Moter Mechanic Recruitment 2026

1. Phase I: Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Standard Test (PST).
2. Phase II: Verification of Original Documents and Written Examination.
3. Phase III: Practical Skill Test and preparation of the merit list.
4. Phase IV: Detailed Medical Examination (DME) and Review Medical Examination (RME), where applicable.

Final Merit Rule: The Practical Skill Test is qualifying in nature. Final merit is prepared on the basis of written examination marks among candidates who qualify the prescribed stages.
