For a period of six (06) months, Grid Controller of India (GRID India) is accepting applications for fifteen full-time internship positions. Candidates with a minimum CGPA of 65% who are enrolled in full-time regular courses in B.E., B.Tech., B.Sc. (Engg.), or IDD (Integrated Dual Degree) at an accredited university or institute in the fields of electrical, electrical (power), electrical and electronics, power systems engineering, or power engineering (electrical) are eligible to apply. The monthly salary that was announced is Rs. 50,000. From October 22, 2026, to November 6, 2026, candidates may apply online via the web portal. Candidates with desired qualifications are given preference during the shortlisting process, which is based on essential qualifying criteria. Shortlisted candidates then meet at NLDC, New Delhi.

Education, Age Limit & Pay Scale : GRID India Intern Recruitment 2026
- Qualification: Full Time Regular Course in B.E. /B.Tech./ B. Sc (Engg.)/ IDD (Integrated Dual Degree) from recognized University/ Institute in Electrical/ Electrical (Power)/ Electrical and Electronics/ Power Systems Engineering/ Power Engineering (Electrical) disciplines, with minimum 65% or equivalent CGPA.
- Age limit: 18 to 32 years (as on 06-Nov-2026), Any Relaxation in Upper Age Limit shall be as per Government of India Directives. Relaxation in marks for candidates belonging to SC/ST/PwBD categories will be pass marks.
- Pay Scale: An all-inclusive stipend of ₹50,000 per month will be given to the chosen interns; no other benefits, emoluments, or allowances will be accepted. The engagement period is six (06) months, however it can be extended by an additional three (03) months under the same terms and conditions if both parties agree.

The applicants shall be shortlisted on the basis of their fulfilment of prescribed essential eligibility criteria; preference will be given to candidates possessing desirable qualifications. Shortlisted candidates shall be called for an interaction at NLDC, New Delhi. No TA/ DA shall be paid to the candidates appearing for the interaction.
