Educational Qualification & Experienced:
A recognized medical qualification included in the First or Second Schedule or Part-II of the Third Schedule of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.
An MD / MS / DNB or an equivalent postgraduate degree in the concerned medical specialty or allied discipline.
A minimum of 4 years of teaching experience as an Associate Professor / Reader in a recognized medical college. or
3 years of experience as an Associate Professor coupled with at least 4 research publications in indexed, national, or international medical journals.
All teaching and research metrics must align with current National Medical Commission (NMC) norms.
Nationality / Citizenship: Candidate must be a citizen of India; certain categories of Nepal, Bhutan, Tibetan refugees and PIO from specified countries may also apply, subject to Government of India eligibility certificate.

Selection Process : ESIC Teaching Faculty Recruitment 2026
The recruitment does not involve a written screening test. Candidates are assessed on the following format:
Application Screening & Shortlisting: If a large number of forms are received, shortlisting occurs based on advanced teaching experience and publication records.
Personal Interview: Conducted out of a total of 100 Marks.Minimum qualifying marks are 50 for UR/EWS, 45 for OBC, and 40 for SC/ST/PwBD.
Document Verification: Verification of original academic records, registration certificates, and work credentials.
