Selection Process – Coal India Limited (CIL) Recruitment 2026
The selection process for this Recruitment 2026 consists of a Computer Based Online Test (CBT) only.
There will be NO interview for final selection.
The CBT will be of 3 hours duration (in one sitting) consisting of two papers of 100 marks each.
Paper-I covers General Knowledge/ Awareness, Reasoning, Numerical Ability and General English. Paper-II covers Professional Knowledge (Discipline related). Each question carries 1 mark and there is NO penalty for wrong answers.
No marks will be awarded for un-attempted questions.
The question paper will be bilingual (English and Hindi); in case of any error in Hindi version, the English version will be valid and final.
Minimum Qualifying Marks for General (UR) / EWS: 40 each paper, For OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 35 each paper, For SC / ST / PwD: 30 each paper
